I have been parenting teen and tween girls for seven years now and have three fabulous daughters so I should be a total expert in gifts for teen girls. Sadly, this is not the case and I get a sinking feeling as birthdays approach. Teens can be pretty good at telling you what they want but if you need some inspiration, this will help.
Gifts for teen girls tend to fall into a number of categories. Some are appearance-related and this would include things like make up, jewellery and anything to do with nails or hair. Then there are the bedroom-related ones such as picture frames or cushions. Of course, there’s the good old novelty or useful gifts such as a scarf hanger, stools, screen cleaner or puzzles. And, finally, the educational gifts but we all know we don’t need to waste any more time on those!
It helps if you can have a great teen gift collection in one place and you can find this at Qwerkity who have some unique gifts for teen girls and boys (as well as a lot more) and we were delighted to be asked to review some. Here’s how we got on.
Gifts for teen girls – our choices
We selected ‘The Little Book of Earrings’ which is a super useful way to store all the earrings that my youngest daughter has. It gives me somewhere safe to put them when I find them on the sofa or in the garden! It’s a lovely bright red colour, with 4 padded grey ‘pages’ which can each hold up to 12 pairs of earrings. It has a faux leather cover and a press stud close. My daughter stores hers on a bookshelf next to her favourite books. The earrings are hers.
We also chose the wrap bracelet. This is a gorgeous piece of jewellery for teen girls. Each bracelet has four strands and the press-stud fixing makes it easy to get on and off. I actually like this myself so I may try to pinch it as some stage. We also thought it looked great as a cool choker and even looks good in your hair. The possibilities are endless!
We were thoroughly delighted with our gifts which arrived promptly.
We were sent complimentary gifts to review but the opinions and photographs are our own.
